The ORIORDAN ADR practice has been launched to provide Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services to parties involved in Construction and Commercial disputes, generally in the Munster Area.
The practice is located in the newly launched Douglas Business Center (formerly The Old Schoolhouse and Montrose House), on Carrigaline Road, in Douglas Village.
ADR services will include Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation.
Most Irish construction contracts, and many commercial contracts call for disputes to be resolved through ADR rather than through the more intimidating, more costly and more prolonged procedure of litigation and court appearances. ADR practices are more personal, accessible, immediate and less costly. The parties to the dispute have more flexibility and control over ADR procedures. ADR procedures are less confrontational and often succeed in maintaining the business relationship between the parties.
